HF

For HF work I have the Yaesu FT-817 which runs 5 Watts into a long wire which is currently tuned for 20meters TX. This the band in HF I enjoy the most as I like to TX and RX SSTV, click here to see some pictures received over SSTV

6 Meters Radio

My current radio for 6 Meters is the Yaesu FT-817. with a 6 Meter Halo Antenna.

6 Meter Locator Squares Map (worked from IO75RW) as GM7GDE

Current aerial is a Halo for 6M with a B.N.O.S 50Watt Linear Amp

2 Meters

My 2 meter setup is made up of the Yaesu FT-736r the FT-817 and the Icom 240 currently only into a vertical co-linner but connect to my home built TNC Kit, which running the iGate APRS home station, for the car I have a Kenwood TM-D710e which has echo link and APRS and the Icom IC-2820 for DV, D-STAR operations.

APRS

I am also active on 2meters APRS 144.800Mhz
I run an APRS i-Gate with the call sign MB7UAH. The setup is a Key KM150H running 9W into a co-liner with 6dBi from IO75VS

My UI-View APRS web server is located at http://gm7gde.ham-radio-op.net where you will see a live list of stations I am receiving up to the moment. 70 cms

For 70cms I use the Yaesu FT-736r & Icon IC2820 that covers the band with 35- 50 watts into a 7-ele ZL YAGI.

23 cms

My 23cms radio is the Yaesu FT-736r that covers the band with 15w into 2 x 28 element Wimo beams.

13 cms

For 13cms I have a DB6NT transverter with 1w

3 cms

For 10Ghz I have the G3WDG transverter kit, this is currently being built into an external case and will be driven by 2m ssb.

ATV

My current ATV set-up consists of

24cms
1 watt home built TX.
My receiver is a dual import home built kit.
The aerials are a 2x21 element Horizontal beam's at home.

13cms
25mw G1MFG ATV Tx.
G1MFG Advance RX.
The aerials are 21 db parabolic reflector at home and a 13 db corner reflector for portable work.

3cms
Gun Diode and modulator board for TX.
LNB converted to 10ghz then feeding home built 23cms RX.

SSTV

I am know from time to time to send SSTV on 2 meters and other bands. I use the program JV Fax which uses the P.C's sound card to generate the audio and will also decode incoming SSTV. I also have a home built SSTV decoder which decodes the audio and converts it into RS-232 code which then plugs into the serial port of a home computer. I now have a wire up 20meters and RX and TX SSTV on this band.
